Committees

The core work of the Ramsey Hill Association is directed by the Chair of each committee listed below. Members' volunteer help is welcomed by our committee chairpersons, whom you may contact directly.

 

Community Parterships : Nancy Zingale: nhzingale@stthomas.edu : Outreach to the broader community in the form of grants and other forms of support to groups in need.

Crime Prevention : Stan Berger: winterhill.stan@gmail.com: Oversight of crime prevention and notification measures within the Ramsey Hill Neighborhood.

Fund Raising/House Tour : Joan Potter: jepotter60@gmail.com: Development of events to generate income for the organization beyond membership dues; planning and implementation of all facets of the biannual Ramsey Hill House Tour..

Historic Preservation : Gwen Schwebel: gschwebel@3m.com: Reviews issues related to historic preservation within neighborhood. Interacts with local district council and city and county governments.

Land Use : Marcy Wallace: mcwall@bitstream.net : Reports on land use issues concerning the Ramsey Hill neighborhood and related actions of city and county governments.

Membership : Carl Nelson : gerdacarl@q.com : Invites new members to the community. Manages member information.

Parks and Gardens : Marilyn Natz : mnatz@aol.com : Oversight of maintenance and improvement initiatives for all parks and gardens in Ramsey Hill.

Public Relations : Tim DeMarce: tdemarce@comcast.net: Monthly newsletter development and general publicity outreach.

Social Events : Becky Richardson: beckyrichardson@comcast.net : Maintains and plans social events for Ramsey Hill Association members.

Summit-University Planning Council : Mary Morris: mem9@me.com : Saint Paul is divided into seventeen districts allowing and encouraging citizen participation in the process of local government. Each district is represented by a community council to gather input from residents on community concerns and forward advisory opinions for Saint Paul City Council for consideration.

Technology : Mark Tande: info@ramseyhill.org : Directs technology related aspects of organization, including website development and databases.
