You are invited to a free evening lecture and social on May 22 to, perhaps optimistically, welcome the beginning of Summer—please save the date!
What:
The Summit Avenue Residential Preservation Association (SARPA) and the Ramsey Hill Association (RHA) will be hosting a very interesting and informative talk on Summit Avenue People presented by Professor Kristin Anderson. This will be the third in a series of lectures on Summit Avenue by Professor Anderson. The first two were great and this will be also.
Who:
Dr. Anderson is a Professor of Art History at Augsburg University. She has taught courses on the history of Summit Avenue. She is the past chair of the Minnesota State Review Board for National Register of Historic Places designations and has served as the president of the state chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians (MNSAH). She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Kristin is a great teacher.
Note:
Professor Anderson will not speak about the proposed Regional Trail on Summit. Her talk will be an opportunity for SARPA and RHA members and guests to learn more about the Avenue we all love, from an engaging and expert speaker!
Note also:
The talk will be a great opportunity to renew your membership in SARPA and RHA or to join if you are not already a member.
