DISCUSSION WITH JUNE BERKOWITZ from NINA'S COFFEE CAFE
Sunday, August 15
We were joined by local business owner June Berkowitz to hear about her experience as Nina’s Coffee Cafe owner. Many people know June as a neighborhood staple and wonderfully bright personality. We’re lucky to have her and Nina’s in Ramsey Hill. We made our way to Nina's and were treated with delicious handcrafted beverages! Thanks, June!

Hallie Q. Brown Center
Saturday, July 17
Our tour of Hallie Q. Brown was amazing. HQB Executive Director, Jonathan Palmer, led a very knowledgeable and in-depth tour of organization's rich history of community engagement. Landing on the Raising Rondo event, we got to see an extremely well-organized community center in action—delivering food and essentials to residents, and building trust across our neighborhood.

GERMANIC AMERICAN INSTITUTE
Saturday, July 10
Thanks to the Germanic American Institute and everyone who came out last weekend for our tour of the GAI. The Ratskeller was amazing and the homemade German cakes were delicious!

F. SCOTT FITZGERALD WALK ABOUT
Saturday, April 10
UW Eau Claire Professor, local musician and RHA member Joel Pace led us on a tour from Overlook Park to the Commodore and back around to the University Club of Saint Paul. It was an engaging Walk-About—filled with poetry, scat and deep knowledge of F. Scott, Zelda and their entourage. The tour of the Commodore and the University Club was a major reminder of the beautifully preserved history and architecture in our neighborhood.

RAMSEY HILL BUSINESS IMPRINT

Thank you to everyone who joined, and to our guest Board Member and Neighborhood Business Liaison, Scott Griescbach. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out for our most recent Sunday Walk-About! We were joined by RHA Board Member Mason Riddle for an informed and timely discussion on our neighborhood’s historic preservation efforts. We’ll make sure to keep those conversations flowing.
