Dear Ramsey Hill Neighbors,
As many of you are aware, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has recently intensified its presence across the Twin Cities. In early January, the federal government deployed what officials described as its largest immigration enforcement operation ever in Minnesota, sending hundreds (possibly up to 2,000) DHS personnel—including ICE deportation officers—to the Minneapolis–St. Paul region. This heightened activity has understandably caused concern in local schools and neighborhoods, with families and staff describing fear, confusion, and increased absenteeism.
Below are resources being shared by State and City officials. If you see concerning, illegal, or unconstitutional activity, please reference the resources listed below:
Reporting ICE Activity & Emergencies
MN NOICE / Monarca Rapid Response Line: If you notice ICE activity—such as agents in unmarked vehicles, mask-wearing officers, or raids—immediately call or text: 612‑441‑2881. [mnnoice.com]
